Skyliner Refurbishment Jan. 25-31, 2026 & Jan. 24-30, 2027

I just got an email from Disney about this since we have a stay booked at BCV 1/27-2/1/26.

At first I was a little bummed but now I'm thinking this is a blessing for those of us staying at BC/YC and Boardwalk, correct? The International Gateway entrance at Rope Drop will be way less crowded? I'm okay with walking or taking the boat to DHS. I do feel bad for the people staying at RIV/POP/AOA/CBR though.
Absolutely, we've stayed at Dolphin and YC during those maintenance periods, and rope dropping that entrance was a breeze.

This is so awesome! I always travel that time of year and in 2024 was caught off guard and unaware of the maintenance. This year I didn’t go but I know we were left in the dark for a while. I booked my trip for Jan 11-25 2026 and hoped but then it was announced and I just barely missed it which is nice because I’m staying at Riviera!
Now we can all plan for 2027 with the knowledge of the downtime. This is so great!

Looks like the last week of January must be the regular Disney Skyliner maintenance period every year now.
It typically seems to be - but not in 2025 for some reason! There was no maintenance earlier this year! Hope that doesn't mean they have even more to do in 2026.......

They announced other things too. I was stalking today to add to my Boardwalk stay and saw the warning for refurb on the pool at BW in April. I was like what?? It didnt say that when I booked! Then I realized it was for April 2027
