Since it's officially Fall now, it really feels like the trip is getting closer! So excited!

I wish they would release the Holiday Foodie Guide already...I need to obsess over which holiday snacks, treats and drinks I'm getting

Checking in! My girlfriend and I will be staying at VDH/DLH November 20-22, celebrating her 40th birthday a couple weeks belatedly.

We weren't able to score a Trader Sam's reservation for the middle day of our trip despite clicking the button right at 6am yesterday, so we'll be keeping an eye out for a cancelation or doing the walk-up list for that one. Otherwise, I'm excited for what we've booked! Palm Breeze Bar and a surprise World of Color Dessert Party on arrival day, and Hearthstone Lounge for lunch and a Cafe Orleans Fantasmic Dining Package for departure day.

Crossing my fingers that BTMRR comes back up in time, but even without that we're looking forward to a fun, early holiday trip. And my first three-day visit/first staying on site!

Sounds like a wonderful birthday for her! We've had good luck with walk-ups at Trader Sam's, usually without too much wait. I feel like parties of two are generally easier since it's so small. I hope you two have a great time!

I feel you on hoping for Big Thunder, it’s just such a must for us. But I always say, “well we wil always come back! So whatever we miss this time we will get next time!”

For some reason, I never posted my dates and added us to the list! My sister and I are going Nov 15-19, staying at GCH. Like many others here, we are taking advantage of the Dapper Day rates. We usually go in Dec but that was out this year so November it is! So glad we'll still get to experience the holiday magic. I'm hoping to be able to get reservations for the Holiday Tea at GCH but not holding my breath. I have so many things going on I likely won't see them when they drop.

I also booked a reservation at Hearthstone, the 17th at 4:30. We do love the atmosphere during the holidays and it's an easy place for us since we're staying there.

Missing Dapper Day! We arrive the Thursday after…

I’ve actually never done a fall Dapper Day, only spring.
