skyauction question

Tried this in budget site but no one answered so I thought I'd try here where I learned about it.

I'm looking into using skyauction for hotels.

If it states the dates as "now thru May20" for example, do I need to be flexible with my dates? I saw the surcharge for high season (which mine would be). If I win the bid, could I be blocked out of the date I need and forced to choose a new date? If that's the case I can't use skyauction this time around, because my dates are inflexable, but there looks like some nice deals for the future me.

oh the whole the hotels aren't a good bargin on skyaction.

now the timeshares use to be - but skyauction upped it prices.

still home away is still probably the best.

go with one of those then you stay for a week.
