Hi does anyone know if there is a skymap on US airways International flights on A330s. I have seen the films and programmes on offer but there is no mention of this skymap which my dad watches all the flight :D so if anyone has been on one and can tell me that would be great :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Hi there. We've flown transatlantic with US Airways on three trips. Sorry - but as far as I am aware (unless they have just introduced it) there is no Skymap.

Thanks Julie :D Did you fly to Philadelphia? what was the service and planes like? I have never flown USAirways and have heard not too good things about Philadelphia. I am guessing you find them ok as you have been 3 times. Did you fly via Phili?

Thanks for your help

No skymaps on board...but we have been with US Airways 5 times and it has been fine...in fact last time we voluntered to stay an extra night as the flight was overbooked they paid us $400 each, meals and overnight in Philly...which was great.. we took a bus tour around the city and spent the day looking around, it was really good very clean and the people were very friendly, the liberty bell is in a museum (only $8) and they have a lot of history, in fact I did not realise Philly was once the capital of the US...also they have built a new immigration hall, it took only 1 hour 5 mins from getting off the plane going through immigration, picking up luggage and walking to another terminal
to our gate.

Yes - we've had good experiences with US Airways too. We've also volunteered to delay our flights by a day (on the way over there - not on the way back) and had the same treatment - $400 each, overnight accommodation and meals - plus business class upgrade too.

Forgot to mention that we liked the airport at Philly too - didn't get chance to venture outside it. Staff at the airport were friendly and helpful - and the shops, food outlets etc are great to wander around if you have a couple of hours between flights. It is truly a massive airport and can be quite a hike between terminals.
