I would choose Tonys! We have always loved their food and they are very accommodating. My kids have also always loved Tonys. We have been 1 to 2 times a year for over 10 years and never been disappointed.

I have not dined at Skippers but we dined for the first time at Tony's over July 4th week. Totally enjoyed it. It gets a bad rap on all the boards and FB groups but we thought it was great. And we had a window side table so if there had been a parade, it would've been a fantastic seat. We split a salad, each had seafood scampi and a glass of Moscato. Plus the bread served was soft and tasty. Service was great, too. I won't hesitate to book it again. I had waited for years due to the bad reviews. Maybe we hit it on a good night or maybe we aren't hard to please.

I'd take Skippers over Tony's any day. Tony's is very stock standard "OK" Italian food while Skippers Canteen has a more diverse menu and great atmosphere. My last trip I got the seafood stew and the on-draught white wine. It was a great meal and great service!

I loved that seafood stew, and their steak salad, but neither are listed on the Skipper's Canteen menu now. For that reason, I'd choose to go to Tony's
