Skip Frozen?

My DH and I are going to Epcot for our anniversary. We've never been on Frozen, but was wondering if it is even worth it for adults. Our top priorities besides having a few drinks around the World are Spaceship Earth, Soarin, Test Track, and Living the Land, which I think we could easily do if we get FP+s for everything except TT. We will just to single rider for that.

Yes, skip it.

What I would do is FP+ Test Track. Soarin, Spaceship Earth and Living with the Land via standby. Not because I don't think FEA is a bad ride but with Soarin and Test TRack as priorities and only one day to do both, I don't think I would burn my one FP+ on something I am on the fence about anyway.

I enjoyed it, so did DH. It really is to each their own. I think if you liked the movie, you'll appreciate the ride. If you didn't then it probably isn't worth it to you.

We enjoyed it - but I would not fastpass it with Soarin and Test Track in the same Tier. If the wait was less than 30 minutes I would wait - but I wouldn't wait much more than that for the ride. It is not a ride we do each trip - but would ride it if the wait was short.

I actually like the ride. I think it is a well done dark ride for what room they had to work with and with having to use an existing ride system. Some people hate it though (maybe because it isn't Maelstrom?). I personally would try to see it if you have the time. That said, it depends on how long you are planning to spend in the park and when you are going. If you are going to be there all day Frozen Ever After tends to have a shorter line than Soarin' mid morning, while Soarin' has the shorter line in the late afternoon or evening. So you can base which one of those to get a FP for depending on when you'll be there and when you'll want to ride.

If you like the movie I think it's worth going on. I've been able to use my tier 1 FP for Frozen and then book the other rides as subsequent FPs later in the day, but I guess it depends how crowded the park is that day. You could also rope drop Soarin and Living with the Land, I think those are easier to do RD than the Frozen ride since so many people are trying to rush over there.

the initial 3 cannot include Test track and Soarin as they are in the same tier.

the frozen ride is pretty cool imho, however depends on if you guys liked the movie too

I thought it was pretty great, myself, but if you don't like the movie, then I wouldn't bother. I'm looking forward to riding it again in October!

We did it because we wanted to see what they did with the ride. We went directly there when the park opened. We did not run or even walk like speedwalkers. We just walked to Norway. We walked right on the ride, no wait. If you go there first, you can do it. Even when we exited the ride, there was barely a line.

I wouldn't use a FP to do it, but if I had kids who love the movie I would. It's sweet and pretty much exactly what you think it is.

My bestie and I rode it in April, and we really liked it. She had ridden it before, but I had not. I thought it was fun. I did like the movie.
I wouldn't wait more than 20-30 minutes though.

Eh, I'd skip it. Nice ride and nice conversion of the old Maelstrom, but I wouldn't go crazy over it. I think I like what they did with the queue area the best, it was the little fishing village where you got off of Maelstrom.

If we did it, I thought our plan would be to do Soarin at rope drop; walk over to TT and do single rider; then have FP's for Frozen (Tier 1), Spaceship Earth and The Land (Tier 2).

This is coming from someone that does not even care for Frozen the movie all that much... DON'T SKIP IT.
I thought it was pretty dang good!
The group I went to Epcot with in April consisted of an 18yr old, 30yr old, 37yr old, 69yr old, and 73yr old and we all enjoyed it and none are overly excited about Frozen.

I love FEA and I'm not really a huge Frozen fan. I just think the technology is really cool. If you are planning on RD, I would RD Soarin', do TT as single rider and FP+ SE, Living with the Land and FEA. Or, if you are on the fence, check the standby waits during the day and get in line if the mood strikes.

Sounds like overall a good plan, and your FP choices would be what I recommend doing. If you are doing rope drop and you want to ride TT with your husband (being your anniversary and all), I would consider going to TT first at RD and going through the normal line. Then head straight over to Soarin' after that. Soarin' isn't the draw that it used to be, and with 3 theaters now the lines are typically shorter than what you might have experienced in the past. Make your Living with the Land FP the first one of the day and have it start around 9:45 AM. That way you can ride it after getting off Soarin' without having to backtrack later. Make your 2nd FP Spaceship Earth right after that. Get Frozen for the early afternoon (or whenever you are planning to start your World Showcase touring).

Skip Frozen?? Never! :confused3

Dh & I have been empty nesters for many years and we wouldn't dream of missing it! It's not just for little kids!

Would a window of 9:45 - 10:45 for our first FP to The Land give us enough time to do rope drop TT and then standby Soarin' though? We are talking the last week of August, which hopefully won't be as busy as, say, June.

I expected to like it - and was very impressed. It's just what a Disney dark ride should be (although longer is better!).

I like uckknight's plan above. RD Test Track, then Soarin standby, then FEA with your FP.

When I went, I did FEA at RD (very easy walkon if you are in front of the crowds and I was able to do it 2x), then Soarin standby with only a short wait. I skipped Test track as I left and moved on to MK at this point.

This is our plan for our July trip and hoping it works well! Our 9:45 fp is for nemo so close to soarin if I remember correctly. So if for some reason it takes us an hour to do soarin' I still expect to be ok for nemo.

Correct...ride TT via FP+ then ride Soarin , Living with the Land and Spaceship Earth via standby.
