Skateboard Parks ???

Hi, My son likes to skateboard. Are there any good skateboard parks we should visit while in the Orlando area? Thanks

I know Vans has a skate park in the Festival Bay Mall (on the northern end of I-Drive, next to Belz/Prime Outlets). I confess I am not really qualified to say whether or not it is "good."

My nephew is from Virginia and my parents took him there at Christmas time. He loved it. I saw pictures, it looks great.

I told my son about this after reading it-- he wants a trip to Orlando NOW-- and it's not to see Mickey Mouse. . He is so into skateboarding....he's convinced my dh and his dad to build him some mini skate park in the way back yard once the snow melts. He's selling his dirtbike to fund the project.

the Vans park is better than just 'good'. it's indoor/outdoor. concrete bowls outside, wood inside. 2 different sized half pipes, and a nice street course. blades and BMX bikes welcome. Festival Bay/Ron Jon's is also in the middle of building a surf park. pretty cool stuff.
