Size of HH studios vs. Other DVC resorts?

For those of you who've stayed in studios at OKW, HH, and other resorts, do you think the studios at HH are more comparable in size to the smaller ones or the bigger ones at OKW. Just curious. And do you remember whether the studios had the full size coffee makers or the smaller 4-cup ones?

Can't help you with the OKW comparison...but they are bigger than VWL (our home resort). The "kitchen type area" is actually located around the corner from the beds, so it feels like a room by itself. The porch is a nice size too.

I don't know the square footage off the top of my head, but I do believe that the studios at HH are even slightly bigger than those at OKW. But there are others on this board that would know that better than I do.

We found the studio at HH to be fine for myself, DH, DD (7 & 3) for 6 nights in april, though we will probably stretch for a 1 bedroom next time for the simple reason that you do spend a little bit more time in your room there than you do a WDW.

Of all the studios, We found the one at HH felt the biggest and had the best layout.

The HH studios are over 400 sq ft and are the largest DVC studio rooms. They all have the Queen bed and sleep sofa and the kitchenette is in the entryway, which makes efficient use of the space there. They all have a nice large balcony also.

There are a total of 21 studios at the resort, so they are challenging to find available at times.

I refer to the studios at OKW as a larger than most hotel room. Don't get me wrong - we have often been well serviced by a studio at OKW.

Both the BWV studio & HHI studio we stayed in had a queen bed & a sleeper sofa. Since it was only my husband & I each time, this worked well for us. The sofa is like having a little living room to us.

Also, when we were at BWV we had friends come back o the room with us for a few hours one afternoon. The baby & a parent took a nap on the bed. Grandparents sat on the balcony reading. My husband slept on the unopened couch & the rest of us went to the pool . It worked well for a few hours!

We like the layout of the studio at HHI! As others have said the kitchen area is around the corner from the sleeping/sitting area. There was plenty of counter space there, too!
