I, too, have been searching for cheap car rentals, Feb. 23-March 1. Usually pay under $200. Not this year. I found a little ad at the bottom of hotwire or some travel site for Sixt. They had a couple of rentals CHEAP. I booked on online. In reading their website, it looks like they just opened in Orlando in late January.
Has anyone used this company? It sounds legit, but I can't believe what rate I got. I read all the fine print. Please reassure me!

I put in your dates and the cheapest car (Hyundai Accent) is $459.03. How is everyone getting such cheap rates with Sixt? Is there a special link to click through?

In January I put in for early Feb, then for March and had $145. The same trip recently was more then double????
The only reason I did not book the inexpensive rate was not that it was off site, but I do have a major credit card any longer.

You don't need a major credit card to rent with Alamo or National. You can use a debit card with proof of a round trip ticket.

Yes, we got our Sixt car rental Feb. 23-29. I had used a coupon on the website that made it $120 for Florida rentals. I did have to take their insurance, though, because I did not have my proof of insurance card (my bust).
The pick-up shuttle was clean, right on time and the driver was polite. The car was brand new and we were pleased. However, they did not give us return directions, so we drove around a while before finding the place. It's on the same road as Payless, not that hard to get to. Just ask them for a map.
Overall, we were pleased. Just keep looking for the cheap rates.

I used Sixt Feb25-Mar 2 without any issues at all. Car was new and clean.
While I usually rent from Alamo and prefer the convenience of their kiosks and on site location, Sixt was several hundred dollars cheaper. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
