Six Flags Passes question

Just wondering if you have to buy them in your home state? I see that it's much cheaper to get the season passes for Six Flags New England in MA and it would be worth it to me to go up there for a night or weekend. We went there 2 years ago and loved it! Does anyone know if that would work? Thanks.

From what I understand, you can get them at any SF and use them at the rest - however, you need to pick them up from the one you buy them at.

FYI - Six Flags is on shopdiscover.com :)

New this year parking only works for the park that you bought the pass at, so if you are planning to go to New England to get the pass, you can't get a parking pass valid at Great Adventure and would have to pay $15 to park at Great Adventure each time.

Just another cutback by the new management of Six Flags, along with no Glow In the Park parade for all parks except Chicago, a shorter operating season for almost all of their parks and shorter park hours on some of the days they are open for every park, no season pass appreciation nights and no more Funatics rewards program for passholders
