We have 5 families (so far) going on the DCL in September. We are using different travel agents. How do we go about asking to sit together.

Also, how many can sit at a table? I am guessing we will need 2 tables. Can we ask for the tables to be close together?

Thanks,
DJ

Depending on the size of the families, you will likley need 2 tables, although I know there are some BIG tables...you'll need to get the info for each party, (reservation numbers, etc) and you can have your TA call and have the reservations "linked"...then have them note that you want to sit at two tables near each other. They will make a note in the system for the dining room assignments when it is time.

I've never done this with multiple TAs, but I'm thinking it can be done that way...the other option is to call DCL yourself and see if they can do it for you...

Yes - this works. We linked 4 different reservations together on our last cruise and sat at the same table. Three reservations were with DU and one with DVC but it worked great. Christmas 2001 we had 8 cabins and we all sat together as well, although it took us 2 tables.

I called DCL directly, and they linked our dinner reservations with two other groups, and it worked well. Very easy to get done!
