One thing to mention about the outage of 12/3-12/4 . . .
I was checking into the BWV on the 4th. I did online check in at the 10 day point and put my credit card number in at that time. They seemed to be really glad that I did that because they couldn't input any information at the time I checked in. They were having to write everything up on some sort of form to be entered later, including the cc information. It also made it easier when I went back to get my real resort ID later (they gave out key only cards at check in because they couldn't make the real IDs with the system down). For those of you (including myself) who are really squeamish about having your cc number just floating around, I was very glad I had already put in my info so they didn't need to fill out that part of the form.
So if you ever see an announcement of a system outage that coincides with your check in day, it is a good idea to do the online check in well in advance.
