After our KTTK tour we did a few more attractions and the sausage got to visit It's a Small World

Sorry, it was pretty dark in there but I thought it was funny anyway. I'm a horrible photographer!
Then we went back to our room for a little while because it started to rain. Our reservation at 'Ohana was for 6:25 and we left WL around 5 pm. It took mere minutes to get to Magic Kingdom where we would take the monorail to the Polynesian. It was still raining when we got to MK and as we were walking to the monorail, we saw a CM at the entrance turning people away. The monorail was broken down and he wasn't sure when it would be back up. So we decided to get in line for the boat. It seemed like there were thousands of people standing in the rain waiting for the boat. And then this teeny tiny boat pulls up and about 15 people get on. We'd moved up about an inch in 1/2 hour. We waited forever and then we heard someone say that the monorail was running again so we made a mad dash to get a seat, pushing small children down on our way. Just kidding, we would never do that!

That was about 6:15 pm and our ADR was at 6:25. There was a "traffic jam"

about three times just going to the Poly and we got there around 6:50!!

I hate the monorail.
We went right to the podium and told our sob story to the host and she didn't seem to even look up at us. She just handed us a pager. There were no available chairs so we stood around and waited for no more than 10 minutes and our pager went off! We were shown to a table way in the back which was perfect because we were without our kids and it didn't matter if we were near all of the hoopla. As a matter of fact, we didn't see any of it even though we could hear it! On our way, our host picked up a loaf of pineapple coconut bread.

It was yummy but I could have used some butter because everything is better with butter!
Our server was "Cousin Simo" and he was very happy and friendly. He took our drink orders and was back with them very quickly. My sister had an iced tea which wasn't worth taking a photo of but this was!!

This lovely lady was an Island Sunset - 7 Tiki rum, Parrot Bay Coconut Rum, melon liqueur & peach schnapps w/guava passion fruit juice. I was so happy to meet her just then!

She hit the spot!
Then Simo's assistant Jose brought out the salad.

I fell in love with the honey-lime dressing on the salad. It was coated just perfectly, just enough but not dripping in it. The dressing was a little sweet but just right!
We just had time to eat some salad and Simo dropped off the wings and potstickers!

Loved, loved, loved both of these!!

They were hot and fresh and the potstickers (or pork dumplings) had a bit of a sweet glaze on them which worked well. The wings were excellent as well. The sauce on the wings was like none I'd ever tasted and I could have made an entire meal just out of the items that I had so far! But I knew there was more to come so I had to control myself.
Next Jose dropped off a bowl of broccoli.

It was nicely done, not mushy, not crunchy and it had a nice seasoning on it so it wasn't blah.
I told my sister that I thought we got some noodles as well but the noodles never came. Soon Simo started to bring out the skewers of meat. Have any of you seen the movie Bridesmaids? I'm sorry, but when I saw Simo coming with the steak skewers I just couldn't help but think of THAT scene.

If you've seen it, you know what I'm talking about. Sorry! Anyway, I had the steak first and that was it for me - it was amazing steak and I didn't care if I tried any of the other meats. I tried them all and they were ok (the pork was seasoned with something that I didn't care for but that's just me). But the steak...give me more steak!! It was just a little pink in the middle, the way I like it.

I'm sorry, this is the most pathetic photo of a steak ever! It doesn't do it justice at all.
Also, right after the steak we got the noodles as well! The noodles were really good too. Apparently I didn't get a photo of these.
Just when I thought that life couldn't get any better. Simo plopped this down on our table.

This was hands down the best dessert I had at Disney!

It pushed down the bread pudding from Raglan Road and kicked sand in it's face. It was soft and amazing and hot and caramelly and ice creamy and aaagggggghhhhh!!!! I want some now!! I'd already eaten an obscene amount of food but there was nothing that could stop me from diving into this.
This meal totally gets 3 sausages and an Aaron Rodgers!

I have to say that I may have even liked this meal more than Le Cellier! I only feel bad that I couldn't eat more. Also, it was a lot of food for two people and quite a bit was wasted. But I did the best I could!
Up next, Wizarding World of Harry Potter's Three Broomsticks.
