I feel so bad for Mary, she begged and begged Cody to have another baby with her and he said NO. Then to turn around have a baby with Robin that must be heartbreaking for her.

If a person is not current in their child support payments, they are not able to get a temple recommend and go to the temple. Some men would rather give up the rights to their children rather than become current on child support that way they can still go to the temple. Crazy, I know but it does happen more than most people are willing to discuss in the LDS community or the off shoots of the LDS religion that do go to the temple. Most polygamous groups do hold the temple as sacred so this may be the case with Robyn's husband. She did mention that he wasn't paying child support.

I assume you're referring to the FLDS. There's a BIG difference. Several members of my extended family belong to the LDS church, and I can assure you that no splinter groups are allowed in any of the 140+ LDS temples worldwide, no matter how many Meri tears are shed in the attempt. The mainstream LDS church has not allowed polygamy for over 100 years, and excommunicates anyone who tries it. I am not familiar with the FLDS temple practices, but as far as I know they have only the one temple in Texas.

Actually I am talking about polygamist who still enter the LDS temples. They enter fraudulently but they do enter.

They don't consider themselves either one. The are very straightforward about the fact they are doing their own, independent thing.

Good for her, I do feel bad for the other two, Cody seems to be only in love with Robin. Janelle probably could support herself, but not Christine. Between the two, they have 8 children a piece. The new baby is number 19.
