I still have 2-3 more episodes to watch before I'm caught up but I just went to the sisterwife's closet website. They now have some budget jewelry and some designs by Kody that he made for each one of his wive's! Who would want to wear something like that. "Where did you get that necklace?" I thought he wasn't going to be part of the business except for in the background? I do remember Robyn having tears in her eyes when Janelle suggested to her that Kody not be part of it anymore.

Idk why she made such a stink about him or Janelle not wanting to be a part of the business. They're obviously not into jewelry, why was it such a big deal?

Yeah, I'm guessing it's about being married to someone she didn't love/being married to the "other" kind of polygamists or about her poor money management. If it was about her virginity, it would seem very weird to me to make a family announcement, I would hope that she would just talk about that with the older kids as needed.

What ever happened to their house in Utah? It seems like they still "own" it but that would mean another mortgage to pay.

Also, I thought he was only legally married to Meri so how do Janelle & Christine use Brown as their legal name on their bankrupcy filings?

they claimed recently that they kept it because Mariah wanted to live there when she went to college. but then she ended up saying she didn't want to live there anyway.

you can legally change your name to whatever you want, whenever you want. you don't have to get married. you just need to have the $$ to do it.

I believe the reason Meri and Kody had so much trouble securing their loan and possibly having to take a different path to getting the home was the Utah home. It be they had to secure the loan and buy the house in only with the legally married couple due to the Utah law about presenting yourself as husband and wife constituted a marriage and that would trigger their bigamy laws.

i completely agree! DH and i were talking about this just the other day. she pouted and acted like a brat for weeks. if she were my child i would have TOLD her "you're acting like a brat, stop it. I'M the one who's going to lose out the most if we don't get this house, so stop complaining and suck it up" i mean come on the girl is 18 i can't believe she acted that way.

and yes i agree. they can't afford to send their kids to college, yet they can buy those big huge houses and try invitro. i mean obviously there's no way anyone could pay for that many kids to go to college, but still...unnecessary to act that way "well you need a scholarship in order to go to school!" when it's clear they could at least help a LITTLE with the financing.

The part that got me was when Mariah just sat in the car staring at the empty house. Seriously?? What normal kid would do that??

now post-partum seems more likely, however she did seem rather emotional before she even had her current baby so i think that's just how she is.

I agree. The producers probably needed to make up some drama over the financing and figured Meri and Mariah could probably be the most dramatic and cry the easiest. No brainer.

I am not a religious person, but I actually loved the song at the end of this last episode. I thought it was a Christmas song. It was actually a hymn. I might download it, still thinking it over. Anyone else like it? Did any of you watch the show Big Love? I did download the song from the finale! I often get music from TV shows.

But you are not making a reality TV star income.

I wish they would mention the fact they get paid to do the show, talk about an Elephant in the room. They need to stop pretending they are poor. They may be poor again in the future, as the show is not going to last forever (just ask Kate) and it doesn't look like they are making wise choices that will see that money last well into the future. But at this current moment Christine darn well can afford a mortgage!

Why is Christine's nose always so red? Is it sunburned or is there something wrong with her? I'm surprised that the makeup crew can't do something about this.

My nose is ALWAYS cold unless even if its hot out so my nose ways looks bright red. My Dr isn't concerned and its been like this forever so I never really think about it.

I felt bad for Robyn since she obviously greatly regretted what had happened in her past. They put so much emphasis on staying "pure" for their husbands that I feel bad for those girls.
