Has Nascar moved completely to Sirius? Will there be no more Nascar races on XM?

thanks!

No more races and qualifying, but they will still have their other content, such as the daily Claire B. Lang and Joe Castello shows and weekly shows with Dale E and Jimmy J..

Thanks! I'll have to tell my husband and he won't be happy. Maybe he should get Sirius.

We have had Sirius for the past year. Xmas gift for DH last year. This year I received a Stilleto, it's like a walkman/Ipod!! I enjoy Howard Stern, and I missed him. LOL This little radio - records the shows I want for future listening. It will record any songs you like, without additional cost. Janis

i was with xm for years when they first came out. loved them! i moved to sirius for howard stern. sirius is great! cant go wrong moving to them. They seem to have taken all of xm's shows over to sirius now.

I've been with Sirius for about a year now. Knowing that XM was gonna lose the Nascar qualifying and the races themselves made it an easy choice [Sirius vs XM] for me.

I tried several of the Sirius receivers in my vehicle, and finally setled on the cheapest model they have. I believe its called the Sirius One, its the one unit they have that looks ALOT like a radar detector. It sounded noticeably better than all of the other models I had tried. I bought it at Radio Shack for 29.99. It came with everything I need to install it into my Ford Escape SUV.

The Sirius One does NOT have a home kit available, but its very easy to buy the required power supply and antenna at Radio Shack, and then use the unit insides to broadcast Sirius to any FM radio you have laying around.

Also .. one thing I learned is that having the antenna installed on your roof of your vehicle - like it's supposed to be - makes a world of difference!! I had my antenna just laying up on the dashboard for quite some time and had drop offs sometimes. I finally took the time to do it right - with my wifes help - and the reception is 99.99% perfect all the time.

For us, it made no sense to switch.. XM offers more music and has better technology, plus all of the NASCAR stuff is already on TV and the local radio.. So why switch?

My DH bought me XM last year for Christmas and we hardly ever used it. Only on long car rides. When I heard that they were losing the Nascar races I called to cancel. My DH prepaid for 3 years. I explained why I was cancelling and they offered to refund my unused portion (roughly $250) and give me 3 months free to see if I want to keep it.
I havent quite made up my mind yet.
But if you are serious (no pun intended) about cancelling XM, they will probably make you the same offer.
