Single Supplement

What is this? We were looking at the trips and they are about 3000 a person, then they charge you a $800 Single Supplement for each adult? What is it, what is it for?

The single supplement is the amt charged above the base rate for a single adult traveling alone (in a separate room). Very common to see this. I have had to pay it myself on tours, cruises,etc. One cruise had a 200% single supplement charge!! (no< I didn't go!)

So it's for if only one person is going. So I wouldn't have to pay it because we have three.
