I just made reservations today for our trip in September. :cool1:
I have read on a few sites that there are single rider's lines on some rides....does anyone know if this is true? If so, what attractions offer it in Magic Kingdom?!

Thanks so much for all the help!
Heather

yes, it's true. I know that Test Track has one. I don't know of any others off hand. Sorry....

Expedition Everset has one and I cant think of any others besides that and test track. Those rides have it becase they have rows of three. In September there will be VERY short waits and I hardly think you would need to use single riders lines. We have been every Sept for the past 5 years and we have never even used a fast pass.

Yup, there are a few of them. I know that Indiana Jones has one, Splash Mountain has one, Space mountain, Buzz Lightyear, Star Tours and a few others that I can't think of at the moment. My 13 year old son LOVES all of those rides and I'm not one to ride over and over and over so he goes by himself. Have fun!

The only rides I've ever experienced with single rider lines are Test Track and Expedition Everest. (Perhaps Mission Space has one too, I haven't done that one yet.) The Test Track seats three to a row, so single riders are in demand. Expediltion Everest seats two to a row, so single riders are needed for parties of three or five.

I think the poster above is mistaken about Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear, and Star Tours. Also, Indiana Jones is a show, and would have no need for single "riders."

Enjoy.

One thing is for sure, if the ride has a single's line...use it! We waited in line for Test Track once and the stand-by wait was well over an hour and a half. Just as we were about to leave, we decided to join the singles line and try it out because people were walking right in. We did not wait any longer than 5 minutes. :thumbsup2

Definitely Test Track, Mission: Space, and Expedition Everest. I have seen a single rider sign in Space Mountain, but I don't think that it is ever in use.

I highly recommend the Test Track single riders line. We've only rode it using the single riders line and usually 2 out of the 3 of us still end up together in the same car.

Splash Mountain in DL has one . However, in all my solo trips to WDW, the only one I've noticed(and used repeatedly) is TT. I don't know about MS since I've never gone there.

Same with us. Since there are four of us we end up two and two. It really works out very well! :goodvibes

Everest has a single rider line and it is FANTASTIC! I think we were on the ride longer than we stood in line!

Test Track has single rider lines if you don't want to wait in the long line up. It's good to use the single rider line when you don't have anyone else to go with. I'm pretty sure that there is none in MK. But i'm going with my mom so i'll wait with her. Me and my brother always use the single rider line up! It's faster...

Shouldwe all ride EE togher first thenuse single rider line forthe 2-10 times that we will probably go on the ride or should we juststart with the single rider line..

Oh ya....this time there will be 8 of us 1DM ,1 very young DGM and 6 DS-DGS ages 5-16.

Ya , I know that we are crazy.

I can't remember any single rider lines in MK-but, as you get nearer the front of the line the CMs will sometimes shout back for a single rider, so it pays to keep your ears open if you are a genuine single rider.

Here are the rides that have Single riders line at WDW today
Mission Space
Test Track
Expedition Everest

When Soaring was 1st built at EPCOT they did have a single rider line....however it has been eliminated and will not return according to many CMs at the ride that I queried.

Rides that should have a single rider line are,
Space Mountain (they always send the trains thru with empty seats...too popular a ride to make that grave mistake)
Splash Mountain (another ride with a lot of unused capacity)
Kilmanjaro Safaris and Kali River Rapids.
Tower of Terror

Get a fast pass for one of the times so you can all ride together and avoid a long wait. My friend and I did the single rider line several times and were seated next to each other once and right behind each other a few times too, so you never know!
