Single Riders Line

Shouldwe all ride EE togher first thenuse single rider line forthe 2-10 times that we will probably go on the ride or should we juststart with the single rider line..

Oh ya....this time there will be 8 of us 1DM ,1 very young DGM and 6 DS-DGS ages 5-16.

Ya , I know that we are crazy.

I would use FP first and then if you enjoy it that much use the singles lines.

Just so you don't get caught off guard if any of the kids are tall enough to ride EE (44") but not yet 7 they won't be able to use the single rider line. Disney policy is 7 and up to ride without a responsible adult. In that case you will need to use FP or the regular standby line.

While this is not a big problem with EE or MS, I have seen more than a few upset parents with kids just about 40" only about 4-5yos trying to use the single rider line at TT. Since its fairly certain you will be separated they won't allow you to use the SR line if somene is the party isn't 7 or over.

Space Mountain definitely, but it may not always be in use.

Unfortunately, not since FP have they used a single rider line at Space Mt Although IMHO they should, like an above poster mentioned there are often cars of 3 with only 2 passengers. I have been solo a couple times when they have called for a single - but that was after the entire queue so it saved about 5 minutes tops.

IIRC the only rides at WDW that now offer true single rider lines are Test Track, Mission Space and Expedition Everest. Please be prepared though to ride alone, they will separate you and if they think your trying to switch around to ride together they will ask you to exit and enter the proper line. Especially at Test Track I have found they are very strict with the "single" aspect of single rider line.

Rides that should have a single rider line are,
Kilmanjaro Safaris

Yes, it might be nice to have a single rider line at Kilimanjaro Safaris, however, the way the ride loads (line splits to 2 different load docks), it would be rather difficult to implement a single rider line. Also, given that the ride vehicles hold roughly 30 people, 1 or 2 empty seats doesn't really make a huge amount of difference to the overall capacity of the ride ... whereas, a ride like Test Track, with only 6 seats per vehicle, 2 empty seats would be 33% of the available capacity
