Single moms (and dads): Do you date?

I've been divorced from my ex-wife for 5 years and haven't really dated. Part of that is I have very little free time, but also I think it's a matter of just being happy with who I am.

My daughter has to be my priority. I wouldn't be much of a dad if she wasn't. Raising her without anyone to help and holding down a job and going back to school to get licensed to teach kinda takes priority over dating

I have been divorced for 13 years and raised two children, now 22 and 19, who are healthy, independent young people (one just graduated college and the younger just started her second year, both out of state). When people ask me if I am divorced, I answer, "Actually I am blissfully single!"
