Anyone have a good website to share for a vacation home rental for lots of people?

I've gone from wanting to stay off site to... er... um... Inviting my entire extended family to join us... (I swear, someday we'll take a vacation as a family of five! :lmao: ) Anyway - the more people, the more to split the bill - maybe we'll do the extended family thing for week and then our own condo for a second week to recover :rotfl:

So, any good suggestions for me?

Thanks! :hippie:

How many people will be joining you on the trip? Emerald Island Resort has a number of larger homes (6 and 7 bedrooms). 6 bedroom homes typically accommodate 14 guests and 7 bedroom homes typically accommodate 16 guests.

www.StayAtEmeraldIsland.com

There are two distinct styles of homes on Emerald Island - the standard Bay series homes and the larger Harbor series homes on the Enclave (these are larger homes on larger lots)

If you have more than 16 people you will have to consider multiple homes.

The earlier you can book multiple homes, the more chance you have of getting homes that are close together.

Formosa Gardens Estates also has 7 bedroom homes and is in the same area.

Hope that helps,

Thank you both so much!

We'd have 15 people, so 7 bedrooms should work ;)

:cool1: :thumbsup2

(Two 4 bedroom houses is always an option as well)...

Hi

There are a number of communities with 7 bedroom homes, in the Formosa Gardens area these are Emerald Island, Arcadia Estates, Formosa Gardens Estates, and I think a couple in Rolling Hills.

To fit 16 people into a 7 bedroom home means either there is a pull out sofa in a living area, or bunk beds in one of the bedrooms. All homes will have a different bedroom layout (eg number of kings, queens, twins, bunk beds, sleeper sofa etc) so just make sure the layout works for you in the home you chose.

Its also a pretty good idea to arrange which bedroom everyone is going to stay in well in advance of arriving, as it stops fall outs during your vacation.

Good Luck in making your decision, and I'm sure everyone on hear will give their 2p if you ask on any particular home or area.
