Single digit countdown to Aloha Isle

Hi All!!!

I am in the single digit count down!!!YAY!!!
I never thought I would see a single digit counter!!!!
I have already warned my dh and dds that I will RUN to Aloha Isle for my Dole whip...this is how I plan on starting my much NEEDED vaca.
I told my dds that the vaca is more for mommy not the kids... they just laugh at me and agreed not to disagree...hehehe.

I think that I am a bit over excited...hehe
I have been packed for about 3 weeks now. DH kept asking if we were going on the same trip.

I agree 100% on the best snack ever..that is why I make a run for it when I get to MK. I want to savor the moment quietly---as quiet as MK next to the Lil kids ride gets...LOL

have fun on your trip...we were at POR on 8/16-22/09
nice place. I would choose AB over magnolia bend. just a personal choice. I thought the rms were nicer. We were at both...(long story.)
Enjoy it, def. take the ferry into DTD its such a nice down time ride in DTD..

no buses = down time for me.

if you are on the dining plan take advantage of Planet Hollywood. (the food was very yummy)
Boatwrights at POR had best shortest menu I have even seen but the food was just as yummy.

I forgot to mention..I RECOMMEND Cirque Du Soleil...a very pretty show. if you go to travelzoo you can get tickets for 40% LESS. I did---only way I could afford it with the kids and dh...LOL

I ask this somewhat sheepishly.....what is a dole whip and where/what park do you get it?

It is the yummiest float anyone can have...simply put---dole pineapple juice over soft serve vanilla icecream. in magic kingdom near aladdin/pirates rides...
small little hut that says Aloha Isle. lines can be quite long--its a beloved disney treat.LOL.. enjoy it if you are there.
