Hi y'all,
I'm putting the finishing touches on my April trip, and realized that some of planned experiences at Tokyo DL will be closed until my last day at Tokyo Disney. (Vacation Package Disney Sea day) I'd like to park hop to be able to do the DL experiences that will have just opened on my last day.

Does anyone have any advisement or experience with a successful park hop using a DL single day park ticket and a DS VP ticket?

Thanks very much!! :lovestruc

You can certainly do that. What kind of attractions are included on your DS VP day? You don't want to leave money on the table, so to speak, and not maximize your DS VP day, especially since by most accounts DS is the more desirable (or at least more unique in Tokyo) Disney park.

Excellent, thank you! I'll purchase the single day DL park ticket so I have the option to hop from DS to DL on Day 3.
I have three days of overlapping vacation packages: (Day 1 Unlimited DL, Day 2 Unlimited DS + Attractions DL, Day 3 Attractions DS + Single ticket DL)

When I initially booked, I didn't know about the closures and a DL park group meetup on my DS day. (And I thought the only way to park hop was by multiple VP.) I also planned a quick DS/DL 1 park- 1 day when I fly into Japan- just in case weather turns lousy a week later during the VP stays. (How to beat jet lag with Super-Chipper-Disney-energy!) ;) :jester:

Enjoy!

f you have booked a Tokyo Disney Resort Vacation Package, please note that you are unable to use your hotel guest benefits to purchase additional Park tickets for the dates on which you already have Park tickets.

IMO only an issue if the park is sold out and you were planning on being able to buy a guaranteed ticket as a resort guest

I ended up purchasing a "regular day pass" for DL on my DS VP-2 day.
After the 5th time rereading the Tokyo Disney policy language, I think I finally get it. Thank you for your post to highlight that the policy is more about HOW to purchase tickets, rather than outright eligibility and ticket use. Thank you!!
