Since when is this acceptable?

Just reporting we didn’t see any wet towels on the floor in BPK! I decided to take a walk last night around a few floors for giggles…lol

Meh, this is common at much nicer hotels than this. As is putting the room service in the hall.

The difference is the Disney housekeeping, who I guess just rolled on by.
I've stayed at multiple Four Seasons, various other 5 and 4 stars, and probably 10 deluxe cash stays at WDW. I've never seen laundry outside of rooms, at any time of day from other guests. Room service trays of course, while some consider tacky, is common because it doesn't have a home in the room. If a very fancy hotel, it's brought on it's own table, call down and they retrieve the table and plates. Bath towels go on pile on the bath room floor or in hamper for the housekeeper and new towels are replaced.

I understand that the front desk tells some people to leave their towels in the hall. My first question to the front desk would be ” shouldn’t you be coming to pick them up?” Or “ when are you going to pick these towels up”
Nothing wrong with holding DVC accountable IMO.
