I love the name Jenn, I wish it was my name.
I think its Jenn because Jen is really informal. I save my Jen for a few close friends and my family.
At work I go by Jennifer, I hate Jenny. It makes me feel like I am 10 or something. If I were to go by "Jen" it would be spelled Jenn. (If that makes sense, you gotta know me really well to use the Jen!)
I think it is kinda funny how crazed we can be about our names. I do correct people who call me Jenny. It is worse than nails on a chalk board to me when I hear it. I was one of 4 in grade school, we all used our name and last name inital to keep things straight.
I'm Jennifer but I'll answer to Jen, not Jenn. I introduce myself as Jennifer and refer to myself as Jennifer but people always take it upon themselves to call me Jen.
I don't take too kindly to being called Jenny.
It's kinda weird to keep reading my name over and over lol.![]()
Stay tuned for the Jason thread!![]()

This is so funny! How many of you were born in 72-74? I'm only asking because I was supposed to be a Jennifer Lynn....but there were 12 (yes, twelve) Jennifers in the hospital when I was born, and many were Jennifer Lynns! So, Mom named me (after 3 days) after the heroine in her romance novel she had at the hospital (Karissa).
That's because all those 30-somethings know at least 10 Jennifers.Funny there are almost no little ones with that name anymore- just a bunch of 30 somethings.
I like Stephanie. Steph for short. It's cute.but instead I got stuck with Stephanie. Blech!
