We are traveling in from the EU with an Iphone 6S and need a SIMS card for 20 days. What plan/card did you use suggest for a SIM card. We have a carried over here that is unknown in the USA, Vodaphone.

It's kinda hard to say for sure without a little more information. Can you look on the back of the phone and find the model number? I'tll most likely be A1633, but could be A1700 or A1688. That'll help narrow down what carriers it will work with.

You'll be better off asking in the international forums. Those of us who live here don't really need the type of plan that you'll need for just 20 days in the states.

There are a lot of prepaid providers. I use Hologram.io for my data-only devices. T-mobile had some decent temporary pre-paid plans. I'd just pick a carrier and stop by their store to get a SIM card and register for a plan.

For an iPhone, you'll need a micro-SIM card.

iPhone 6s is nano sim card, not micro.
Another idea is to get a Tmobile plan from the US. It provides 2G international roaming for free.
