Now approaching the last few days trying to cram in the things we haven't yet got around to doing. So today we decided on Seaworld to try and get on Manta. There for opening, Glen and I made a mad dash for the ride but were held back for rope drop. John and Ashley were going to have a look around and we would text them when we had finished. Eventually joined a queue and heard whispers of a 40 minute wait, who started that one I don't know but we were on in a matter of a few minutes. Fantastic ride, loved it but no photos
Met the others and went to wait for Blue Horizons and straight afterwards Shamu show.
Its a heck of a splash
Had a quick lunch, I wanted to see the Critters show as I thought it would amuse Ashley, which it did and I've got it noted we saw Alure (but can't remember much about that!!!)
Pearl divers
We fed the sharks for $5 tray of fish
Critters show stage, I videod this so no pics, but for those people who haven't seen it, its mainly cats and dogs doing tricks to a little story, there was a skunk and pig involved too, it was very amusing.
Finished looking around and made our way back by taxi and arrived at the resort by 4.30.
When we arrived back at the Poly we found Ashley's well loved teddy (should be a green care bear with a lucky three leaved clover on his tummy, you can see how well worn he is) had found a girlfriend.
Had an ADR at Plaza tonight and was determined to keep this one, I had heard good things about it especially the milk shakes and as we had missed some of our others ADR's didn't want to miss this, we had to wait outside and it had started to rain but the parade went by and kept us amused for a while before we had to vacate the chairs undercover as they wanted to get ready for Wishes (it was 4 hours away so why they needed to clear chairs away that far in advance I'll never know).
My chicken/strawberry salad - it was huge and I wondered how on earth I was going to get through it especially as we had all ordered milkshakes and they were enormous too!
A lady at the table next to us has some sort of food allergy and the chef came out to have a word, when her meal came out she burst into tears because there was cucumber on it and that must have been what she was allergic to. She did seem to over react because as soon as the staff apologised and took the meal away she was laughing and joking with her husband and son who was not very well behaved himself. I could understand her frustration when she'd just explained what the problem was but to go from crying to laughing in a matter of seconds seemed strange to say the least!
Where do I start?
On the move again to spend the evening at Epcot to see Illuminations
(no decent firework shots I'm afraid)
Went on Los Callaberos twice for Ashley and caught the monorail back to TTC, boys walked back through the grounds while John and I watched Wishes from near the ferryboat landing. So you could say we saw both set of fireworks (albeit not the best of views) in one night.
