Simply unbelieveable..

I am so sorry for everything you are going through.

To add another happy ending experience, a friend of mine had twin girls at 28 weeks and they are both happy, healthy 3rd graders now. They did have some time in the NICU, but they have no effects from prematurity at all.

You are in my thoughts. I hope you get well-deserved good news soon.

Oh, I'm so sorry. I know that threat when you're pregnant. I spent my second half of my pregnancy on bedrest, because I started going into labour early and then I ended up with pre-eclampsia as well. I was induced early and all ended well, but it was difficult. I pray that everything works out for you also. I'm also so sorry about your BIL. I hate cancer in the worst possible way thanks to losing many family members to it, and I wish you didn't have to go through all of this ever, but especially not now.

My prayers are with you - I'm so sorry for all of your troubles. In all of this awful muck that you and your family are going through, please try to find something that soothes and relaxes you - not just for your babies, but for you as well. I understand how hard this time is for you (trust me), but the most important thing is find time to focus on yourself and your body & mind. As much ugliness and hatred I've found on these boards, we are here for you right now. :grouphug:

Oh, Karen - life is so unfair sometimes. You continue to be in my prayers. Please know that you have many here sending out good thoughts to you. Hang in there honey.

I am so sorry. When it rains it pours, but you are going through a flood.

Again, I'm so sorry ...thoughts and prayers going out for you and your family.

One week after the loss of my sweet Leann, I have been told/confirmed dx of early onset severe preeclampsia, and told if my bp doesn't drop and soon--I could have an emergency c-section as early as 27 or 28 weeks (I'm at 25 weeks now), and my dear BIL who was dx with pancreatic cancer about two months ago found out today he has brain/lung mets and has been put on home hospice care with 2-4 weeks estimated left to live...just unbelievable.

Oh Karen - I haven't been able to stop thinking about you when you posted about the loss of Leann and now this....my heart breaks for you. As another person posted PLEASE try to take care of yourself! You have been handed more heartbreak than anyone should in a lifetime. Please know that so many of us here are praying for you, for your BIL and your sweet little babies.

Prayers for you and your family during this especially painful time. Just to add to the good stories about preemie babies, we have a DGD that was born at almost 28 weeks. She weighed 1 lb 13 oz and was in the hospital for quite a while but she's now almost 19 and doing great! Hang in there and know that we are all pulling for you.

Karen I have been thinking about you and your family since I read the news. If I could take away some of your pain I would. Last year there was a poster on here about a mother who lost her baby to SIDS, I have been following the mothers blog since then. I don't know if reading it will help you or not, but this mother has written beautifully every feeling she has had since she became an angel mommy.

Here is the blog: http://kandjstaats.blogspot.com/, they are coming up on a year since they lost their daughter.

Karen, I really can't believe all you're going through. You must have an amazing amount of inner strength (even if you don't feel like you do, believe me, you do!!) You're holding it together - which is amazing in itself.

Life can certainly be unfair, and you've certainly had more heartache than anyone should every have to experience.

Please, like others have said, take care of yourself. I'm happy to read these other stories about preemies doing well. Keep focusing on the positive if you can.

And I love the name Ena... My dd12 is Erin, but when ds10 was little, he couldn't pronounce it and called her Enna, and it stuck as a family name for her. I've often thought since then, "wow, Enna is a pretty name! Should have named her that!" (although of course I love Erin too).

Please keep us updated... we're all here for you! :grouphug::grouphug:
