Simply unbelieveable..

My prayers are being sent up for you and your family, during this trying time. :group hug:

Congratulations on your new twins. Praying they will grow stronger and healthier every day. Hang in there, and please try to take care of yourself when ever you can.

Oh, Karen - they're here! I'll continue to keep you all in my prayers. Thank you for taking the time to update us.

Congratulations on the births of your daughters!

As the parents of a now 13-year-old 30-weeker, I want to let you know that the road may be long, but it is worth it!.

See if your hospital has a preemie support group. Contact friends and family immediately with the joyous news and let them know that it is joyous! Many of our friends and family gave us a wide berth because they didn't know how to react to us having a preemie. If you let them know this is a gift and be open about the support you need going through this period as they continue to grow and develop.

Also, read up om peemies so you can learn the terminology and what to expect. We felt like the doctors were speaking latin all the time and until we found a good book, we felt cut off from the care of our son. Here's a good one: http://www.amazon.com/Preemies-Edit...2325/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1332105633&sr=8-1

Congrats again!

Praying for you and your family. My oldest was born at 28 weeks and weighed a little over two pounds. She also had a Grade III brain bleed. Today she is 17 years old, captain of the majorettes, and a straight A student. She has had no health problems due to her prematurity. Miracles happen every day! Again, we will be praying!

Congratulations on the birth of your twins. I will be hoping for miracles! May smoother days be in your future.

God Bless your beautiful baby girls and your entire family! You remain in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm just so sorry. I hope the babies stay put for a few more weeks and that everyone is safe and healthy after the delivery.

Good luck with the babies. My nephew was a 28 week premie. He is now 3 years old and still has his button but he is finally eating orally. He is in school and while he has some lingering issues, he has come along better than we ever thought he would.

My advice would be to keep a notebook with dates and diagnosis in it. My sister was overwhelmed by all the information she received and that helped keep it straight.

Congratulations on your twins arrival! I bet they are just beautiful! Medicine has advanced so much in the last 30 years to save the tiniest babies. DGD19 weighed 1 lb 13 oz at 29 weeks. She was hospitalized for 3 months and had surgery to repair her intestin/stomach issue but has done great since. She's a typical 19 year old that knows everyting now. :rolleyes1

Good luck! I know your precious angels are guiding your girls and you will be holding them and they will be growing so big soon.

I'll put you in my prayers this evening!

Congratulations & welcome to your sweet baby girls! Your family has my prayers. I hope the time til they are well & home with you goes quickly.
