Silly Symphony Retheme?

Does anyone in the know have an idea what’s going on with Silly Symphony Swings?

I thought it was just under general refurb, but in a recent video (Fresh Baked) it looked like it had been painted the bright blue of Pixar Pier.

Any idea if this is just a new paint job or if it’s being re-themed to Pixar like the Pal A Round?

There hasn’t been any news of a retheme. My guess is this is just the first major rehab since it was rethemed almost 10 years ago.

It was completely pulled down last week. It's cool if they are putting it back up already. While I have no idea what they are doing to it, I assumed they were retheming it.

They just did this with Astro orbiter. So my guess is the same is happening with the swing where it has this major pull apart refurb every 10 years.

The difference here is that it seems to have a completely different paint color than before. Could be just to match Pixar Pier and not a re theme, but at the very least it looks like a change from how it was.

Maybe they just apply some kind of coating or something like that and it just has a different color. After that is all dried up they repaint it the way it was before?

I guess we will find out soon...

They took it down about 2 years ago too. That is how they refurb this ride I guess. I don't know anything about the paint.

Was just there today. We rode the Pal a Round and there is literally NOTHING on the Silly Swings platform at all. Just some random parts and tools. No one was working up there either. Not sure what people saw that was painted blue. There hasn't been anything up there for awhile. We were there last week as well, same thing.

However, there IS progress on the Inside Out ride. There seems to be a purple wall , with a bunch of the little memory balls, in place. That wasn't there last week.

I was wondering when the install would begin on inside out. My guess is it will be open by SWGE opening since they basically just have to plop it into place.

That's the name of the new Inside Out ride down on the pier amidst the Incredicoaster. ... Or at least, plenty of people already refer to it as the Mood Swings I will likely never be able to refer to it as the Emotional Whirlwind (which could have been a great re-theme to Silly Symphony Swings as well).
