For you wonderful ladies (and men) who have already done their honeymoon in Disney I have a question... When you made your ADR's did you tell the people who were making the reservations (people on phone) that it was going to be your honeymoon or did wait to tell the people at the resturaunt when you got to Disney?

I was a little confused as to how they know it's your honeymoon and why sometimes the tables are decorated. I'm going in December and would love to know what to do. I'm all confused! :confused3

Thanks ahead of time!

I'm already so excited about it that when I can make the reservations I'm sure I'll mention it.

What are you dates in December? We will be there Dec. 6 - 14. I can't wait!

We told them when making the ADR's on the phone that we would be on our honeymoon. We would also mention it when we checked in. Sometimes we got free dessert, sometimes, the server didn't even say "congrats".

Definitely tell them when you make your ADR's and "remind" them when you check in for each! Wearing ears or the buttons also makes it pretty obvious! ;)

Dang! Can't wait to hear all about it when you get back!

Are you doing a dining package?

I wasn't going to, but now I am... I just called today to book it. It was a mess all the changing, but at least I have it! I might upgrade to deluxe, just don't know if it's worth it yet, but I have until October to decide... :confused3

Are you doing dining as well?

Both! First we had them mention it in our ADRs. Then we mentioned it when we got there, while wearing our Just Married pin these flashy free-dessert magnets:

And when Citricos made us take them off, we waved them under our server's nose for good measure.

However, as another poster mentioned, this still doesn't guarantee you anything. We got the cold shoulder at a few places, including Le Cellier :snooty:

You can also pick up a "Just Married" button at any Guest Relations site. Wear them and enjoy the perks!:thumbsup2

For a Honeymoon I think it is great to do the dining. We are doing the Deluxe Dining package this time. That way we can try some restaurants and dishes we would otherwise skip.
