silly luggage question.

This will be my first cruise in October. I know that I will leave my luggage out to be collected from our rooms. However where do i collect it from. I'm sure i'll find out at the time but i'm just curious.

Assuming this is a Port Canaveral cruise...once you disembark from the ship, there is a luggage collection area downstairs in the port terminal. Your bags will be in a section matching the tags you're issued (Minnie Mouse, Tinker Bell, etc.). You go to that section and look for your luggage. In my experience they do a decent jobs keeping your bags together.

If you mean at the beginning of the cruise, it will be left in the hall outside your cabin. If you mean after you disembark, there is a big room with the luggage in rows, grouped by the character tags they give you.

Yes. it will be right before you go through customs.

If you get a porter to help you, they can find your luggage in just a minute or two. Save time and energy letting them do all the heavy lifting...................and they will take it out and load it in your car.

Take a picture of your luggage when you put it out the night before. They misplaced one of our bags by accident and the picture really helped them locate the lost bag in the terminal. It was with another color/character's bags.

We didn't put our luggage out the night before this last cruise. Instead we took it to breakfast with us, left it outside the restaurant (the wait staff will show you where to put it), then rolled it with us off the ship. We were headed to MK that day, only had one bag each, and wanted to get off the ship as quickly as possible once we finished breakfast.

We've also left the luggage out the night before and didn't have any trouble finding it.
