silly ? about lanyards

Besides holding your trading pins, what is the idea of the lanyards. Do you keep your hopper pass inside? If so, do they come with the little plastic holder?

Some of the lanyards do come with a clear pocket for your passes. Most of the ones I have seen lately only have a logo card on them.

You might want to stop at one of your local office supply stores for the clear pocket. I know that Staples in my area carries them, and you could take them with you for your lanyards.

We bought lanyards a few trips ago to hold some of our "stuff." We purchased the clear pockets that TiggMan mentioned--I think they were about 3.5 x 5". In them we could put our park pass, room key, driver's license, a couple bucks cash, and sometimes we even carried little mini park maps that we printed at home so that we didn't have to deal with those big folding deals they give you at the park.

IMO, the lanyards worked great. We didn't have to dig in wallets, purses or fanny packs to put our hands on those important items.

The last trip we took was just my wife and myself, so we figured we didn't need to be as organized and left the lanyards at home. By the second day of the trip, we vowed to make them a permanent fixture from now on.

You can also buy the waterproof ID holders. The cases come in two different sizes. I bought a couple on the cruise, but they also sell that at WDW. I know that they sell them at the water parks and at the yaght and beach club. I have not looked anywhere else for them. The small one can hold ID, $, pack of gum, etc. I was able to fit the above plus a small travel size pill bottle and a couple other things. They worked great!
