When you first get on board, how important is it to sign the kids up for the "kids club" thing? Should we head off to do that as the first thing? Do we have time to head for the food? What advise does anyone have in the specific order of making "reservations" for things such as restaurant and stuff? Also are the spa treatments a "free" thing or do you pay for the sessions?

Hi, can you let me know what we have to sign up for once we get on the ship aside from Palo's and the spa stuff? For instance do we need to sign up for the show's for specific dates and times or are we guaranteed all the shows. Plus do we need to sign the kids up for their activities in advance? 1st time cruisers so we are not 100% sure. Maybe a better way I could have asked is what should we sign up for 1st,2nd,etc...
thank you in advance for any help you can give.

You do not sign up for the shows. If you have early dinner seating you go to the 8:30 show - if you have late seating you go to the early show. Palo, the spa, and registering the kids in the club are the only things you need to 'sign up' for once on board-- except for any excursions if you did not prebook.

When registering the kids in the club do that in the early afternoon after lunch and getting ressies for everything else. It takes all of about 5 minutes. That's what we did and were glad. That evening when DD wanted to go to the club the line for registering kids was extremely long. You do not need to reserve the activities for the kids. They are free to join in on whatever they choose.
