What's the earliest show time you could expect to sign up for?

Assuming you arrive 30-45 mins before rope drop, are the first couple showings completely gone by the time you arrive and H&V breakfast folks have had their shot?

Our group will include 6 kids who will want to do it (obviously in the same show would be preferred), and the earlier we can do it, the better for the rest of our day. But I'm not booking another character dining for 3 families solely for Jedi sign-ups.

Any thoughts or experience?

We always do the H&V breakfast and at most there have been two other families doing the run for JTA behind us. If you arrive at DHS that early, you should be fine.

We have never done an early ADR and have not had a problem getting a slot as long as you go right there. There will be plenty of rope droppers going to TSM etc.

Thanks for the input.

I'm not as worried about getting a slot period (we'll be there well before rope drop, at least 30-45 mins), I'm more concerned about getting all 6 kids together and in one of the first 2-3 showings.

It depends on how fast you and the kids can run from the gate. We jogged and maybe got the third slot or onward. And we were not at the front of the crowd, maybe got there 10 minutes before drop. This was mid-November.
