Has anyone thats staying in a villa also got the DDP? We just booked a villa at WL and now I'm wondering should we get the DDP. We had intended to when we had a standard room but since decided to get the 1 bedroom villa. Just wondering what other folks have done.

I plan on having most of our breakfasts & snacks at the villa but would still eat at the parks. We justified the increase in $ for the room because we could save money on food. Now I'm not so sure. :confused3

You can get it with a full price room/ticket package through CRO or with DVC Points (no tickets required).

I had the dining plan last month with my niece on a points stay at BWV. We did character dinners every day, so it was worth it. We had breakfast in the room and a counter service lunch. We used the snack credits mostly for drinks during the day.

If you are planning to / want to eat a nice TS meal every evening, then the DDP is worth it even if you don't get much else. But if you will eat most of your meals in the villa, don't get it. And don't get DDP if you are going to be stressing about whether you are getting your money's worth out of the prepaid plan - that stress is not worth it!
