But I thought I had similar posting style to CR. It was said right here on the DIS - I was her, *that* (for once) I remember.

So, does that mean Janice (got it right) and I have similar styles, as well?

Do you see what happens when you dont just go through life being yourself, and not worrying about others? You become conspiracy theorists. Everyone gets paranoid. They think this one is this one, and that one is this one. Maybe it's cuz it's what they themselves do. Like the spouse who accuses their mate of cheating, when theyre the cheater...paranoia.

Be real. Be honest. Be kind. Be truthful. Then none of these worries come into play.

Change is the nature of message boards. The people who are around when you joined, the ones that first got you interested fade away and the new people are no better or worse, just different. MBs also have peaks and valleys. I had close to 30,000 posts on a Star Wars message board, but sometimes would go months with only one or two posts. Other times I'd post a hundred times a day. But I found the best way to rejuvinate interest is to either take a break for a while or take it by the scruff of the neck. You miss threads about pooh's corpse (or whatever it was)? Start making that kind of thread. A few oldies should have their interest peaked and the threads will get going and a whole new generation will get introduced to classic threads, and hopefully be inspired themselves.

I do find this community board a bit overwhelming. I'd suggest breaking it out into child boards. Something like community, Media and Arts, News and Current Affairs, etc etc, but I have no idea if that's feasible. It does seem to me to be a big enough community that it could handle it. But I'm a newb, so what do i know?

"Little glitches" like a name change in a profile don't just happen with computer programs as sophisticated as this board uses.

It could be many things - but an accident like that requires human intervention.
