Anyone else watch the flight ticket prices go up dramatically in the past 2 days or so?

Yeesh! I was hoping to get my tickets for January but won't spring for 'em yet, not at these prices.

I think they probably will stay high for a while, but then drop. It just seems like a lot of the airlines come out with last minute discounts. If your dates are somewhat flexible, you may be able to snag a deal closer to your departure date.

I always check TRAVELZOO for the latest deals. And it seems like each week one airline or another is running some special.

So even with prices rising, I still think there are deals to be had...you just have to dig deeper and spend more time doing research.

Yeesh! I was hoping to get my tickets for January but won't spring for 'em yet, not at these prices.

Are you flying out of MSP? Are your dates flexible? Just checked. There are some non-stops available for less than $200 RT during January. That's an excellent price.
