Sideways Cabin

We are booked in a sideways cabin in March on the Magic. I have been able to find only a couple of pics online of the sideways cabins. On the DCL website the description of the standard inside cabins say there is a porthole mirror and we have stayed inside before and do remember the mirror. The pics I am finding of the sideways cabins do not show a mirror and the cabins look so bland without anything on the wall by the bed. Have any of you guys stayed in a sideways cabin on the Magic recently and can tell me if there is a mirror? I would love pics also if you have them

We stayed in a sideways on the Wonder a few years ago. Really liked it for its refreshing change from the usual layout. Seems bigger, even though it's really not. Excuse the pics of my family and me, but here are some shots of the cabin. We were in 6511.

Just laid out differently. No idea why no mirror. Maybe DCL doesn't feel it's necessary.

We have had the mirror before in the regular inside cabins on the Magic. It also states such on the DCL website.

I am talking about the Mirror not the virtual porthole that are just on the Dream and Fantasy. I just realized my question may have been confusing.

I've always had a normal mirror in the inside rooms but this is the first sideways room I've had so wont know for 2 weeks

Magic Portholes are not on the Classics, but this is a non-promotional picture of an inside stateroom on the Wonder (not sideways) and there is clearly a round mirror which could be called a "porthole mirror" I guess...

I think you're confusing a porthole mirror with a virtual porthole. The porthole shaped mirrors are on the Classic ships in the inside rooms. The virtual portholes are HD screens shaped like a porthole and show a live feed from the fore or aft camera of the ship (and a Disney surprise goes by every half hour or so) and are only on the inside rooms of the Dream class ships.

Thanks for the reply; good to know not to expect the mirror. When we have had the mirror it seemed to make the cabin look larger but totally agree just so happy to be on the ship I would sleep on a deck chair, lol.
