We will be staying next to the Garden Walk. I have read that they are now shuttling from the Garden Walk parking structure. Are they allowing anyone to use this shuttle? Or do you have to prove you parked there some how?
Thanks for the info,

Walking across the street is too far?

All (but I think one or two) of the ART shuttle routes makes a stop at GardenWalk. There is also a shuttle to GardenWalk from the East Esplanade if Disney is using the GardenWalk parking lots.

Otherwise, it's just a short walk away (around 10 minutes). Cross the street at Harbor Blvd (towards the IHOP), make a right, then cross the street at Disney Way and make a left. You'll enter GardenWalk from the north entrance (where CinemaFusion/24Hour Fitness/Heat/food court is).

As a person who answers many questions on this and other boards around the internet I never assume that the person knows the area and assume that the person may not be able to walk that easy 10 minute walk. For a parent with kids or a disabled person that block long walk is too far.

Garden Walk is not going to card persons getting on their shuttles. It is a free service that they provide for customers and they hope that everyone is a customer but it would not be good for business to ask everyone if they are a customer. Also all people would do is lie anyhow. They will not ask if you are a customer when boarding.

Well I do know that when the parking lots/structure at DLR get too full they direct cars to park in the AGW parking structure (paying DLR price of course) and they have a bus that takes those guests to the main entrance of DLR.

Thank you hon :) well said!! Im disabled, and fall when I am on my feet for more then a few minutes, hence the scooter. and I do not know the area. it looks so far down when I mapped it. so I was worried it was way to far to go.

I will try that on my next research trip as it seems one is called for but I am short on funds at this time for trips so I am going to wait for a meet and greet or June. I am trying hard to research the parks thoroughly to help people.

Personally it is within scooter distance but I have a super duper old scooter that is American made and a sweet ride. If you need someone to accompany you for moral support just PM me. Just note that I drive fast and wreckless.:lmao:

I was thinkng it might be a good option to take the shuttle from Disneyland to Garden Walk for lunch to save the feet and get a little afternoon break...I know from previous experience that my legs and feet get much more tired than usual with all the walking (and standing!) we do on a Disney trip...so a free gardenwalk shuttle sounds like a perfect option to me...Where would we find it---with the other busses at the regular shuttle stop area?

The shuttle stop for the GardenWalk is... somewhere in the East Esplanade. It's not in the numbered areas where the ART shuttles go. I believe (and I'll check next time I'm in the area) it's marked "Shuttle" on the little sign at the end of one of the rows.

the Gardenwalk shuttle is a big bus that is pretty with images on it and says GARDEN WALK. As said before it is in the east side as you are heading for Harbor and Hojo and Fairfield. It will be the main walk way on the right and I think half way down near the DVC pick up area.

Most spots are not marked with hotel names by the way.

thanx for all the info...I will keep it in mind as a possible option...and look for the busses when we're there...

Im so excited !! I can now plan on the garden walk when I go. Thank you all for the help, I appreciate it so much.:)

Thanks for all the info this really helps in our planning.
:woohoo: Doing the single digit dance.
See in you in the park on June 6th:cool1:

I took the 460 home recently and the street that goes south is right where you can enter Garden Walk. For a person with an eCV they would not need a shuttle as it is not that far.
