Hi, we have booked our stay at the Disneyland Hotel and Eurostar tickets separately, hence not entitled to any Disney Luggage Express Service. We are wondering if we should catch the shuttle bus from the train station to the Hotel or just walk to the hotel.
I guess it will be a lot quicker to walk to the hotel but we will be carrying quite a lot luggages (there will be 9 adults with big suitcases). We are afraid that it will be troublesome especially they have the bag checks. Is there an alternative route to bypass the bag checks??? or should we stick to the shuttle bus service??
Does anyone knows if the shuttle bus service is direct to Disneyland Hotel or does it stop at other disney hotels too?

I am sure someone will be along to correct me if I am wrong, but I would say that the DLH was actually nearer to the station than the shuttle buses!

DLH is basically sandwiched between the station and the park entrance, from what I recall.

:cool1:

The DLH has no shuttle bus! Because as kevankiki said it is between the park and the train station/ Disney Village/ WDS!
But I think you can get your luggage delviderd to the hotel from the sation but I'm not sure about this.

Thanks kevankiki and marcus! we just hope the guys at the bag checks area won't be too much of a problem. I know they just have a quite glance at backpacks etc but not sure if they will be more strict on large suitcases. Is both troublesome and embarassing to open our large suitcases in the public :rotfl:

I always wondered about the same thing:
DLH guests who don't arrive by car or Airport shuttle bus have to go to the security bag check with their entire luggage if they don't use the luggage service at the train station? Is that right? :confused3

I was asked to open mine as I passed through on our way to leave the case at left luggage, on Friday. Maybe we looked more suspicious? :rolleyes1

They don't dig very deep though, just a customary glance really, as if I'd have any kind of weapon laying on top of the clothes, should I wish to smuggle one in :lmao:

talking about checking bags, what was the purpose each time we entered the parks to have the rucksack checked?? we opened the zip, they looked in without touching anything or moving anything then said thanks :rotfl:

I'm sure that security would spot anything that was out of the ordinary :)
