Shut out of BOG at 186 days

Well, it finally happened...no BOG availability for our entire trip. 12/13/2014-12/19/2014 were all booked when I checked at 5 a.m. CT this morning. I spoke with a CM on the phone to confirm, and she said that December 19th (the day I was going for) sold out "a couple of days ago." Have heart...there were plenty of spots still open on 12/20 this morning, but we'll be on a plane heading home by then. Hopefully everyone whose windows open tomorrow will have better luck than I did!

We'll do the FP+ for lunch, but we had no problems getting a BOG reservation for our October 2013 trip (actually had availability every day of our trip at 180 days), so it's a little shocking. Oh well.

I was trying for the same dates and didn't get a reservation either. I know several people that did though. It's very frustrating to be online, hitting the find a table button at 5:00 am CT and finding nothing available at all. I tried first for 12/19 thinking that was my best bet and nothing. Checked all other dates too and nothing. Quite a few reservations available on 12/20 but we go home that afternoon. I think a lot of the problem is having 4 party days in that period and then only having reservations available for 2 hours on those 4 days. I'll keep trying but I won't be holding my breath. BOG was the only request DD10 made and I hate not coming through for her. Hopefully the FP+ for BOG lunch will still be offered in December and I can snag one of those.

That's typical. I've been looking at this for awhile and most people find BOG at day 9-10 of their 10 day stay. By 180+6, it's typically booked.

I started looking at ADRs at about day 165 for Sept, so of course no BOG available. I kept dining window open to BOG on my computer and refreshed looking through my dates (took about 1-2 minutes) several times a day. About a month ago (120 days out or so), several BOG dates and times opened (they were all gone in a few hours but I was looking every few hours).

It wasn't the perfect time or date I wanted (8:40 PM on a planned EPCOT day), but we'll make it work!

That's a bummer. I was able to get it yesterday, for our dec 12-18 trip on the 15th. I wonder if it was all the people with free dining kicking in? The time isn't ideal, 4:50, but we'll deal. There was also a 730'choice but I was worried about being late for MSEP.

I know there is usually a month by month ADR cancellation thread you can subscribe to. People will post what ADR they want to cancel so someone can look for it and book. I'm not sure if there is a December one yet, but you can use the search function. Will probably be titled December ADR Cancellation thread. The only thing is you can not post what you are looking/hoping for, cancellation notices only. Hope this helps and you get BOG!

I feel like I got some pixie dust this morning. At exactly 6:00 on the computer and was able to get one for the 21st at 4:40, once that one was secured I checked a couple of days earlier in our vacation and nothing was available.

I have been told to keep checking as sometimes ressies open up closer to the date.

I was able to book both December 19 and 20th this am online for 5pm , got confirmation for both and both are showing up in my disney experience. ( accidently booked the 20th so will be cancelling it soon)

I was looking for about the same dates this morning and nothing. Even called in once lines opened at 7 just to make sure. CM said it makes it so much harder with MNSSHP and MVMCP for people to get rezzies because on the nights of the party, they only book for 2 hours of reservations,4-6. Since BOG closes at 7 on party nights, the CM stated the last reservation slot is 6:00 pm. Doesn't leave a lot of available times with 4 party nights a week.

I got an online ADR for BOG for December 19th. I got it at about 11am CST Sunday morning, the day our 180+10 window opened up.

I would never in a million years be up at 5:30am to make a room or dinner reservation for anything. Put in the date and time and we had 3 different times to pick from. Simple.

One thing I was thinking though. What time does the menu switch to TS? Because there is a MVMCP that night so there may only be a 3 hour window for ADR's that day.

We have 4 people. In the cancellation thread, you noted your reservation is for 2, which is probably why you lucked out. Congrats! It really is a wonderful atmosphere, and dinner is the only way to meet the Beast.

The "window" that showed as being searched was for 4-7:30 p.m. (for the non-party nights I checked for the week, it said slots were searched as late as 9:30 p.m.). Last year, we had a BOG reservation for 6:50 pm on a MNSSHP night, so they take reservations at least through 7:00 on party nights.

Keep checking the site. I couldn't get anything when it was my time to book but I checked every day and I was able to get 2 reservations. Just keep checking.

Add me to the list of trying to get a reservation this morning for December 19th and not getting one (party of 5).
I was happy to have made reservations at 180days (+10) but had given NO thought about BOG having limited hours of ADRs available because of MVMCP. Sigh.

I did get one for December 22nd (the day before we leave). Hadn't planned on going to MK that day, but I think we'll be able to swing by for dinner.

Ugh, this is not promising. :-( We were exactly 180 as of Sunday and I was hammering; no luck. I've tried every day since then; no luck. And I'm open to try for reservations the entire length of our stay, 12/13-12/21.

I'm checking for MUCH less popular restaurants and getting the same message. I'm guessing the system is down at the moment.

The message is different when there's no availability.

That's the same message you get in the hours before the (180+10) 6 am opens up. The system must have its moments. It happened to me a couple of weeks ago when I tried to book my 180+10. Did fine on the phone, though.

I lucked out today and was able to snag a 6:00 pm rezzie for 4 to BOG on Dec 15th. Just decided to make one of my random checks on my break at work today and there it was. I was jumping for joy. Expected to spend the next 6 months checking every day 3-4 times a day. When I saw the time pop up I grabbed that thing. I was double checking on each page to make sure I didn't have the wrong date in there cause I just couldn't believe I got it so quickly when yesterday was my 180 mark.
