Shula's

Last year on our trip to the World, we visited Shula's. Since it got nothing but great reviews from about every guidebook, we decided to try it. But when we got our steaks, we were kind of surprised. After all the hype, I didn't like it as much as I thought I would. It seemed kind of dry. Maybe it's just me, and I'm just to used to Wegman's steaks, or maybe I worked myself into thinking that this would be the steak from heaven. Has anyone else had an experience like this? At any restaurant around the World?

I felt the same way about Shula's. It was good, but didn't knock my socks off. Give me Jiko any time!

BTW--I buy my filets at Wegmans, they hand trim them for me...Butcher Bob is the best

Well after having eaten at Shula's again this past week there is still no steak that i've had anywhere that compares.
