Does anyone know when and if Disney changes the shows on the ships? We have a trip on the fantasy and the magic coming up. Both which we have sailed on multiple times. I like the shows on the fantasy but tangled dining plus tangled show is a bit of an overkill!

Not very often (every 15-20 yrs?). I wouldn't expect any show changes. Tangled is still one of their 'newer' shows. And they had updated the Aladdin show and added Frozen to the Fantasy "recently" (within the past 5 yrs?)

Once in a blue moon, Some shows have been running since the early 00’s. You can see the list of the current shows here :

Tangled, Frozen, Aladdin and Beauty & the Beast are there to stay. Dreams is a fan favorite and won’t be going anywhere. The others are the likely candidates for a replacement, but don’t expect one for a while.

Just sailed the Fantasy on a Western Carribbean (with PDAS) 2/25 thru 3/4.

The shows in the Walt Disney Theater were: Moonshot (Acapella group), Toy Story movie (for PDAS), Aladdin, Frozen, Believe, a juggler, and a (TOTALLY AMAZING) magician.

One of the reasons that I was excited to go on the Wish last year was that they had 2 new shows. I would anticipate new shows when they start sailings for the Treasure as well.

The link also has the retired shows. It seems that the shortest time a show was around is 5-7 years. And those are shows that were not popular at all. I think only 10% if cruisers actually really liked Toy Story the Musical and it stuck around for 6 years!!!

Sad to see that Villains Tonight has been retired, it was my son's favorite show. He found a bootleg video of it on YouTube after sailing and watched it all the time. Of course, that was a long, long time ago!

We noticed that the some of the segments of the shows had been changed. For example, the Disney Dreams – An Enchanted Classic show added a fun segment from Tangled that we didn't remember from our last trip on the Wonder in 2016. It certainly wasn't there when we saw the show back in 2008, because the movie didn't come out until 2010.

The shows are great, we always look forward to them - no matter how many times I see Ensign Benson coerced into hosting the Golden Mickey's.
