Nobody remarked on my place. Everyone elses but not mine and I've been waiting for days.

I think everyone is jealous. I especially love the beautiful barbeque pit in the front yard with the elegant patio chairs surrounding it. Is the inground pool in the back?

The landscaping is lovely also. Would love to see how you decorated the inside. Did you do it yourself or hire an interior decorator?

The porch is nice also with the gorgeous awning. And what's convenient about it, you can hitch it up and mosey on down to another hookup. You do have a hookup don't you?

Here's our first home, outside of Cincinnati. I can so relate to the conversation about regional pricing!!! My DH and I were traveling around the country interviewing for medical residency programs, and had some SERIOUS sticker shock in some places (Long Island obviously included). We were literally shocked. It wasn't that there was anything wrong with the houses we looked at, but our ~2600sqft house, brand new with upgrades cost around 240K here.... which would have bought us NOTHING in some of the east coast areas we looked!

It's had a few changes since we moved in in June (minor landscaping, etc), but you get the idea. We love it

And BTW, we are allowed to park in the driveway now

EXACTLY!!!!! Pure jealousy! That incredible barbecue pit would be the perfect place to entertain Disers for the next FL Dis meet. Imagine the food we could fix! Suppose everyone would have to bring their own folding chair...small sacrifice for all the fun you'd have in exchange!

Didn't need an interior decorator. Did it all myself and it's a real showplace. Perhaps you'll be lucky enough to get a personal tour sometime.

Embarrassed to admit it, but there's no pool. Had an above ground one we found that had been thrown away and we dragged it home. Patched a few holes and it did fine for a while but it's just as well that it began to leak because we had the worst time keeping water moccasins out of it.

About that hookup...sure we have one. Makes it convenient when we can't pay our "electric", then we mosey over to another place and hook up for a bit. But yes, it's all jealousy!

Diane, I always want to ask, but I always forget - what is the view from the front windows? I'm imagining something majestic and gorgeous. I love your lodge!
