I have a feeling you posted it from a pic on Ofoto (Kodak Gallery) sometimes you can see those pics and sometimes not.

I keep all my photo's there, but if im going to post them here I upload them to www.photobucket.com and I never have a problem with people seeing them.

You have to resize it ;)
Click on Edit for the picture you need resized and you can change it, it is probably 50%, so change it down to 25%.

Good luck!

All these photos are amazing. Gives me lots of ideas for my next trip.

I usually post to the VMK forums, because I seem to be one of the VWK lame and old club members. Anyway, my work sent me to Orlando last October, and I had an annual pass and the evenings free, so I took a lot of pictures. A lot. So, if you are interested and have something faster than dial-up (the pictures are 750 pixels wide), feel free to take a look:

Hagen,
What camera are you using for you pics? They are great! I want to go back to WDW just to wander around and take pics like yours. I have a Nokon D70 and still trying to get use to it. Your night shots, did you use the night setting with no flash on auto or do you use all manual settings?
Please help this amateur out a little.

Wow!! I truly LOVED all your photos. . .and the captions (read every one of them ;))! It virtually brought me back to my favorite place. Thanks so much for posting that. . .it made my day :).

Maybe I'll see you on VMK!

Thank you for the kind words, everyone. The success rate on these photos was about 1 in 3, which is pretty good for me. I use a Sony DSC F828, which is an 8 megapixel camera that has a lot of options on it, particularly when it comes to the exposure settings. If you have Photoshop, you can see the exact settings of the camera in the metadata of each picture. If you don't have Photoshop, I tended to use a fill flash in the day time about half of the time, and rarely at night. At night, a tripod was very necessary, and I took plenty of time to make sure the shot was good and re-take it until it was good. This was the advantage of not having the family with me... the only advantage, though. I didn't ride much on the six day I spent in WDW; I mostly pointed my camera at stuff I never get to shoot on real vacations. For the night shots, I used the camera's Scene mode. This would never work without a tripod... a shot like the tiki statues took about fifteen seconds of having the lens open, and during that time a couple actually walked between the camera and the statues, which explains the mist effect. Fortunately, most of the items I was shooting were buildings that don't tend to move very much. The camera takes really good night shots, and that's one of the reasons I bought it. Glad you enjoyed the pictures... now I need to work backwards on this thread and see a bunch of WDW shots from youse guys so I don't go into withdrawal!

This is my favorite pic. I took this picture of the castle last year on November 16th, 2004, the day the Stitch ride officially opened.

This is a great thread! I have to put my pics on the site so I can post them soon! By the way, if anyone didn't see Lucky, I have some short videos of him interacting. Is there any way to post videos here??
