I think that I need to confess something here. I have to admit to all you chocoholics that I just dont like the stuff. What is wrong with me and do I need medical help!?
I dont mind an occasional piece of chocolate...........and yes, I have a further confession - I have thrown away endless bars and boxes.Therapy?

DH was like that, too. He couldn't understand why I liked chocolate so much, I coudn't understand why he didn't.

I'm proud to say I've been able to convert him. I think he eats more chocolate now than I do. One of his favs is the Ritter Sport (with hazelnuts, raisins, and rum) mentioned earlier.

I'm just happy because I can order desserts like the volcano at RFC and have someone to share it with.

I believe there may be hope for you, too, Maggs.

There is a shop in Italy that has the BEST chocolate. They even sell it by the piece.

I can't live without chocolate and I'm not ashamed to admit it. Thankfully, my chocolate SlimFast usually does takes care of my daily needs. TMaybe that's why I love going on vacation.

If you're looking for therapy - I'd suggest the chocolate spa at the Hershey Hotel.

Germany has 'portable' European chocolate bars that are heavenly
And they also have the fudge...my favorite, surprisingly, is the maple fudge.

Can't believe no one has mentioned the delicious Chocolate Truffle Cake at the Fountainview Bakery at Epcot. It's a must for me every trip.

How about the Valrhona Chocolate Molten Cake ot the Cali Grill! It was so good it was obscene! Wish I had just a bite now.

Note - this is intended to be a walking tour, so no full service restaurants included! here's the short form version!

Canada - none that I know of, it would be great if they added Purdy's chocolates or Canadian bars like Coffee Crisp, etc- someone correct me please if incorrect.

UK - real Cadbury chocolate bars

France - crepe with chocolate filling; chocolate pastries from the Boulangerie Patisserie. Maxim chocolates in the gift shop

Morocco - chocolate desserts at the Tangierine Cafe coffee bar; great with mint tea or a specialty coffee (some are really special! )

Japan - chocolate covered Pocky sticks in many assortments

USA - ?? My vote goes to the sugared almonds and pecans (sorry, I haven't met an American chocolate bar I've liked yet). Try a hot chocolate at holiday season

Italy - Perugia chocolate bars; Baci (enjoy the little love notes inside); assortment of loose candies and chocolates; chocolate mousse from the coffee cart

Germany - Reber chocolates (filled with marzipan, alchohol, nougat, and other treats); Milka (rare to find in the US, actually Swiss but great!); Ritter Sport (sadly, they only sell the core bars and not the seasonal specialties like they do in Europe); Toblerone (don't know if it's the one for import, which is not as good as the version for Switzerland and Germany - they hold back the best for themselves! ) Skip the non-german fudge and chocolate covered pretzels and go for something authentic here - you can buy those items elsewhere in WDW. Bahlsen chocolate covered biscuits - a childhood favourite

China - ??

Norway - mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Smorbuuk - 'nuf said! (you could also go for a Daim bar, or a piece of chocolate cake in the Kringla Bakery)

Mexico - an entree with mole sauce. I would really enjoyed a spiced Mexican hot chocolate or mocha hint hint but I don't think that exists

Hmm, strange that Germany has the longest list, isn't it? Guess that my grandfather was right - he believes that one always has to carry an 'emergency' bar of chocolate in the car or in your purse, and that one has to eat at least one bar a day as chocolate is brain food!

Our recent trip this was my favorite chocolate. Got it at Sunshine Seasons in The Land. It tasted like a chocolate spice cake. Was very very yummy. The last photo is of mini zebra domes and chocolate mousse cakes(or since it's multiple would it be chocolate mice cakes) from Mara at AKL, my DDs and I didn't think the mousse was very good, but looooved the zebra domes.

Thank you for the pics!! Oh my, now I'm hungry for chocolate.
