Should we do fireworks and parks early the next day?

we don’t normally do firework shows, but this year have decided to do a few. My question is how late do you get back to your hotel? Trying to figure out how late it will be. Is it possible to do the parks early the next day, rope drop? We have 4 kids, so not sure if this is crazy or not! Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

Which park/fireworks show and what time are fireworks on your day in question? Also which resort?

My kids are younger - we’re usually good with 8pm fireworks so can be in bed at a reasonable time. 9pm or 10pm shows we think twice about in terms of overall sleep schedules. When we do later shows with the kids, we often have a rest day the next day or no early morning plans. Kids still wake up at 6am-6:30am whether they’ve gone to bed at 8pm or 11pm though! Doh!

When are you going and what time are the fireworks? We are a big group with a lot of little ones and we usually save the fireworks for our last night in Magic Kingdom. It's a great way to end the trip and it doesn't matter how late we stay out. This is the first year we are considering seeing them earlier in the trip because we're going the week before Presidents Day and that Friday will probably be Crazy Busy :crazy2: The fireworks start at 8:00 while we're there, so I figure we'll get back to POFQ by 9:30 or 10:00. I would try to plan it on a night with an easier morning following if you can!

For our kids (youngest was 5 during our last trip) we made sure they had 8 hours sleep minimum. After a busy park day it took them seconds to fall asleep, too.

So, it depends on what time you’d get back to the room, which can vary a lot depending on showtime and resort you are at.

Also, rope drop depends on park opening time, what you plan on doing (FOP requires and earlier arrival time than Frontierland).

Also, transport time to park in the morning depends on resort/park combination.

And, how long it takes you to get ready, and what you are doing for breakfast (full meal or quick snack with full meal after rope drop rides).

Conclusion: it can be done with careful planning.

Ugh no we could never do night time fireworks that up early when the kids were small. They just get so worn up being outside all day in the air and all the walking and excitement. We needed our sleep if we stayed up late the night before, we started late the next day or took a resort day.

You know your kids bes.

my son is an early riser no matter what time he gets to bed. An afternoon break helps with the cranks
