::yes:: Basically...the only thing that annoys me are people who speak like they're in an IM (and I find that annoying too).

I think you should be in a close range to the teen ages. Like... 10-23. But thats for like constant posters. I don't care if some 30 year old posts a few times, but it gets weird if they're like on here all the time, and know everyone's name and stuff.

I don't know why people under 13 shouldn't be allowed and people over 19 should and vise versa. No difference because they BOTH aren't teens.

Ok no offense or anything but you guys are getting off topic and I think that everyone should be aloud to post here

I hate that.
I refuse to talk like that...even on MSN.
And rarely on texts, unless I really need to hurry and send it.

Me and my friend are like that, we really never use chat/text speak.
The other day she was trying to text our friend and it took her like 5 minutes because she refused to shorten it up.

both sound like me. My friend Tate will be like "Could you IM and text me like a normal person?" "No."

Anyway I agree PirateMe. They both technically aren't teens and yet people still choose between them?:confused3

I don't think there are any 11 year-olds on here, but if there were it would make me wonder a bit. I know not everyone's parents are probably as strict as mine but I wasn't aloud to go on a message board of have an AIM screenname till I was in 6th grade. And even then I didn't go on a message board. So that makes me wonder a bit, but only if that happened with someone. But 12+ I have no problem. Now 20+ over would bother me if they were constantly posting and not asking for teen advice or acting like a parent.

I think they should have to take grammar tests xD
jk
but I really can't stand it when people post complete nonsense.
Nonsense = horrible spelling, bad grammar and chat speak. THIS IS NOT AIM. This is not MSN. So don't type like it is.

::yes:: YES! OMG, I hate that too. It bothers me so much. It's like, you want to show you're mature, but you type like you're talking on AIM? Uhmm. Hello?

I was thinking that as well.

Age shouldnt matter,
Yes its called the TEEN board i get it but its not like were all 10 and post about ponies, most of us are 12 ;i dont know anyone on the TB who is under 12, but were JUST UNDER. And i also believe if you dont want kids under 13 posting then its not fair to have people over 20 posting bc THERE NOT TEENS EITHER.
Were here, and were not gonna leave.

Were all the same inside, age shouldn't matter.
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...Ponies..Sorry. In other words, I agree Sam.::yes::

Yeah, I hate that, too. I do confess that when I was new to the DIS I did type like that. I have no idea how or when I stopped.

When I was new I did type like that. In IMs too. Over the summer I completely stopped because I looked at it and found it annoying.

Im 41 and just posted here:lmao:.
Any person who wants to start stopping people from posting on a certain forum because of age should start their own
I am cranky, elite and you do not belong here forum.

Oppression sucks. Here is some pixie dust for those people who need reminding this is a Disney family board!

I am 18, almost 19, but i use these boards as a bit of light relief. The college board is a bit slow and 'serious' so i don't go on it much. I like to be able to see what other people think about disney at any age, and i general enjoy posting on most of the boards. I think this board should be for anyone wanting to take a teenage view of Disney.

The only thing i worry about on these boards is that some people's parents may not be aware of whats happening on them, even though the subject contentent tends to be ok, there can be some harsh words said. For younger posters hopefully don't participate much in these kind of conversations, but that would be the only reason i would be concerned. I would never want to ban anyone from the Happiest Message Board In The World!

i think this thread is rude
a few years back i was 12 and posted on here
and in a few more years am i suposed to drop all my friends and just go on the comuinity(sp) board

How is this rude? I think I was just asking a question.

On IM I always talk normal, no btw or anything. On here I may have a lower case I or a few misspelled words. Oh and no '.

It's not rude.
She thinks it is alright for kids of any age should be allowed to post here.
She didn't mean to be rude.

I turn 13 this december and i have been posting here since last year. I see no problem with like 10 11 12 year old kids but idk about like five year olds. I dont mind either way. But i dont want like 50 year olds chatting with us:rotfl:
