Should my documents be here soon?

Well, Pre-Trip Report is done, ADRs made, itinEARary finalized.... should I get my documents soon? I need something new to play with

The travel agent said they usually come about 2 weeks prior to the vacation... I hope they come sooner than that!!

Ours came just a tiny bit under a month out. Probably about 26 days to go.

My next question is pretty silly, but what exactly should I expect in the mysterious "documents" ??

DME is sent about 6 weeks prior to check in
package materials are sent about 5 weeks prior to check-in

if you booked through a TA, it all goes to them on your behalf

AAA agents typically get them 2-3 weeks out

Speak of the devil... I just got an email from the Travel Agent. She said she was notified that they are on the way to her, and she will get them to me ASAP!!

Now, what can I expect to come in the "documents"??

Are you using DME? If so you get your luggage tags and tickets to the bus in those documents. Then in the other package comes an official looking paper that says exactly what is included in your package and who is on the reservation. Depending on what type of package you booked, some come with coupons. Those will be in the document package as well. Like miniature golf B1/G1 and that sort of fun stuff. Really beyond the DME stuff, I was never asked to see any of the rest of it, so I don't think they are necessary, but it sure does make everything feel more real.
